February 2023- Ways to Support Black History Beyond February. It is important to be intentional about celebrating, promoting, and advancing opportunities for Blacks beyond the holidays and throughout the year. Support can come in the form of hiring, diversifying executive teams, supporting black-owned businesses by making a purchase, referring others, engaging on social media with tags, shares, and comments, even just subscribing to email list and submitting a positive review.

Grieving Seattle family visits Bothell police memorial to show unity between BLM, law enforcement


July 2021- Margie visits the memorial for a police officer who was shot in Bothell due to violence. "Standing for Love Not Hate" is part of her long-term mission to bridge communities. That includes finding ways to bring black communities and law enforcement together.
